The 4th Annual Awaken Recovery Run takes place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Black Creek Park, 777 Yarbrough Road, Fultondale, AL 35068. The event offers multiple race options on the park trail.

Registration and purpose
Standard online entry fees listed are $30 for the 5K, $40 for the 10K, $35 for the 0K, and $15 for the 1-Mile Fun Run. The 5K and 10K fees increase after December 31, 2025; the 1-Mile fee increases after February 27, 2026. Registration for the 0K closes February 28, 2026 at 11:59pm CST. Same-day onsite registration is available; same-day fees are $40 for the 5K, $60 for the 10K, and $20 for the 1-Mile Fun Run, and payment is accepted by card.
Awaken is a Birmingham-based nonprofit that provides support groups, recovery retreats, and assistance for churches to help people live free from addiction and relational trauma.
