Autumn March for ALS
The Autumn March for ALS is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026, in Dyersburg, Tennessee (335 Clark Ave, Dyersburg, TN 38024). The event includes multiple race options and community activities. Proceeds support the Tennessee ALS Chapter, local senior scholarships, and Matthew 25:40, Inc.
Event details
Race offerings include 5K, a 2-mile walk, a youth 1-mile, a Ghost Runner option, and a Y-Tot Trot 1/2 mile for children age 5 and under. Some youth events have no entry fee while the main race events list a fee of $25. New courses for all races will begin at the Downtown Farmers Market. Early packet pick-up is scheduled on October 17 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 535 Tucker St, Dyersburg.
The event also features an auto show, food trucks, vendors, a DJ, a bounce house and slide, a cake walk, face painting, and door prizes. The race originated in 1991 to promote a local mission's youth programs and has been held on Dyersburg's Square the third Saturday of October. In 2016 the event was renewed as the Autumn March for ALS Awareness and continues as a community fundraising event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
