Event overview
The Depot Days Rail Run 5K is scheduled for September 19, 2026, in Downtown Newbern, Tennessee. The event is part of the town's Depot Days activities and is held at First United Methodist Church on West Main Street. The race is presented in remembrance of two long-time local organizers and supports local relief efforts. Proceeds will benefit the George Butler Memorial Food Pantry and the Loads of Love laundry ministry at the Newbern Cumberland Presbyterian Church, both operated by community volunteers. Participants are asked to consider bringing canned goods and laundry pods to support those ministries. The event also seeks sponsors; a $100 sponsorship provides recognition on event materials and checks are requested to be made out to Newbern Rotary.

- Health Walk / 2 Mile Walk
