Autumn Leaves 50M / 50K / 30K
The event takes place in St. Paul, OR and offers multiple distance options:
- 50 Miler
- 50 Kilometer
- 30 Kilometer
- Kid's Run (free 1K, pre-registration required)
The course is a 10K loop made of about 80% paved bike path and 20% dirt single track. It is described as very flat with some small rollers. Runners complete multiple loops depending on their distance: 50K is five loops and the 50 miler is eight loops. Despite the trail section, the course is typically runnable in road shoes. A headlamp is required for the first lap because it will be dark.
Two aid stations are placed along the course and will be passed multiple times each loop. The race is cupless; participants should bring a hydration pack, handheld, or a silicone cup. A covered drop bag area is available at the start/finish. Portapotties are at the start/finish and one is midway on course. A finish celebration will include warm food and drinks.
Pacers are allowed: 50K runners may have a pacer for the last two loops and 50M runners for the last three loops. Pacers must sign a waiver, wear a pacer bib, may use aid stations, and may not carry supplies for their runner.
