Autumn Leaves 50M/50K/30K - St. Paul, OR
Autumn Leaves is a looped trail and bike-path race held in St. Paul, Oregon, offering multiple distances on a 10-kilometer loop. The loop is roughly 80% paved bike path and 20% dirt single track, mostly flat with small rollers and generally runnable in road shoes. A headlamp is required for the first lap because it will be dark.
Distances:
- 50 Miler
- 50K
- 30K
- Kid's Run, free 1K
Runners complete multiple loops: the 30K is three loops, the 50K is five loops, and the 50 Miler is eight loops. The event is cupless; participants should bring a hydration pack, handheld, or silicone cup. Two aid stations are placed along the course and are passed multiple times each loop. A covered drop bag area is available at the start/finish; portapotties are at the start/finish and mid-course.
Pacer and crew rules allow pacers for the final loops of the 50K and 50 Miler with a signed waiver and pacer bib; pacers may not carry supplies for the runner. Support crew access is limited to the start/finish and a mid-course aid station. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each timed event by division and masters, and finish place is based on finish line order rather than chip time. A community fund provides race-credit scholarships and the event maintains a gender inclusion policy covering division selection and eligibility.
Registration opens June 1, prices increase on October 19, and registration closes October 22. The stated race fees do not include the state park entrance fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
