Autumn Clock Change Challenge : Calne Community Campus
The Autumn Clock Change Challenge is a road running event held at Calne Community Campus in Wiltshire. It features accurately measured road races and a short supporting fun run for younger participants.
Event distances include:
- 10 km accurately measured road race, entry from age 15.
- 5 km accurately measured road race, entry from age 11.
- 1.5 km fun run for under 16s, run on traffic-free sports fields.
The 5 km and 10 km courses use out and back routes along quiet country lanes. The fun run loops around traffic-free sports fields. Electronic chip timing is provided by LPS Events. Runners in the 10 km and 5 km races receive bespoke event medals; 1.5 km participants receive a finisher medal.
Course records are listed for men and women at both distances, with best times recorded in 2014, 2017, 2019 and 2025. Category prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the 5 km and 1.5 km races. The 10 km has top three overall prizes plus category winners including MJ, M40, M50, M60, M70, FJ, F35, F45, F55, F65 and first male and female teams.
Facilities include free parking, changing and shower rooms, toilets, lockers, and hot food and drinks. The course is unsuitable for wheelchairs, prams, pushchairs, and dogs. Portable music players are not permitted and may lead to disqualification. Entry fees range from £7 to £19. The 10 km field is limited to 400 runners and the 5 km to 200 runners.
