Autumn - Clock Change Challenge
The Autumn - Clock Change Challenge is a road running event held in Calne, Wiltshire. Now in its 16th year, the event features accurately measured courses that are flat and fast, providing an opportunity for runners to achieve personal best times. The 10 km race serves as the eighth event in the 2026 Wiltshire Road Race League.
The event offers three distinct distances:
- 10 km road race for participants aged 15 and over
- 5 km road race for participants aged 11 and over
- 1.5 km fun run for participants aged 17 and under
The 10 km and 5 km routes follow an out-and-back course along quiet country lanes. Participants in the 1.5 km fun run complete loops around traffic-free sports fields. All runners receive electronic chip timing for accurate results. Capacity is limited to 400 entries for the 10 km and 200 for the 5 km.
Facilities at the Calne Community Campus include free parking, changing rooms, showers, toilets, and lockers. Hot food and drinks are available on-site. Participants in the 10 km and 5 km distances receive a bespoke medal, while fun run finishers receive a separate medal. Category prizes are awarded to top finishers across various age brackets and teams. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs, prams, or dogs, and the use of portable music players is prohibited.
