Course, prizes and facilities
The 5km and 10km use out-and-back routes along quiet country lanes. The 1.5km fun run loops around traffic-free sports fields. Electronic chip timing is used for all runners. Bespoke medals are awarded to 5km and 10km finishers; the 1.5km fun run receives a finisher's medal. Category prizes include top 3 male and female overall for the 5km and 1.5km, and multiple overall and age-category prizes plus team prizes for the 10km. The event provides free parking, changing, shower and toilet facilities, lockers, and hot food and drinks. Wheelchairs, prams, pushchairs and dogs are not permitted, and portable music players are prohibited. Presentations and prize awards are part of the event schedule.
