Event details

The Autumn Clock Change Challenge takes place on 25 October 2026 at Calne Community Campus, White Horse Way, Calne, Wiltshire. The event includes accurately measured road races and a supporting fun run. Entry fees range from £7 to £19. The organiser is Wiltshire Council.

Race formats, eligibility and facilities

Distances offered:

  • 10 km road race (accurately measured; out-and-back route on quiet country lanes)
  • 5 km road race (accurately measured; out-and-back route on quiet country lanes)
  • 1.5 km fun run (loop around traffic-free sports fields)

Age eligibility noted for the road races: the 10 km is for entrants aged 15 and over; the 5 km is for entrants aged 11 and over. The fun run is for junior entrants. The race limit is 400 for the 10 km and 200 for the 5 km.

Prizes and timing: bespoke medals are provided for 5 km and 10 km finishers; the 1.5 km fun run receives a finisher medal. Category prizes are awarded for top overall finishers and for age-group and team placings in the 10 km. Electronic chip timing is used for results, provided by LPS Events.

On-site facilities and rules include free parking, changing, shower and toilet facilities, lockers, and hot food and drinks. The course is unsuitable for wheelchairs, prams, pushchairs, and dogs.
