AUTUMN - Clock Change Challenge

The Autumn Clock Change Challenge is a multi-distance road running event held at Calne Community Campus, White Horse Way, Calne, Wiltshire, SN11 0SP. It is in its 16th year and features accurately measured courses for road races and a short supporting fun run.

Distances offered:

  • 10 km accurately measured road race, open to entrants aged 15 and over.
  • 5 km accurately measured road race, open to entrants aged 11 and over.
  • 1.5 km fun run, available for younger runners under 16 years.

The 5 km and 10 km races use out-and-back routes along quiet country lanes. The fun run loops around traffic-free sports fields. Electronic chip timing is provided by LPS Events. Finishers in the 10 km and 5 km races receive bespoke event medals; 1.5 km participants receive finisher medals. Course records include men's and women's times for 10 km and 5 km.

Prizes are awarded by category. The 5 km and 1.5 km each award overall top three males and females. The 10 km awards overall top three males and females plus first places in age categories such as MJ, M40, M50, M60, M70, FJ, F35, F45, F55, F65 and first male and female teams based on club positions. Entry limits apply: 400 for the 10 km and 200 for the 5 km.

Facilities include free parking, changing, showers and toilets, lockers, and hot food and drinks. The course is unsuitable for wheelchairs, prams, pushchairs and dogs. Portable music players are not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
