Event overview
The Australian Alpine Ascent is a trail running event held in Kosciuszko National Park, based at The Stables Resort Perisher in Perisher Valley, New South Wales. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 14 February 2026. The event is organised by Elite Energy and lists partners including Fisiocrem, Peoplecare, Revvies Energy and Rudy Project.

Race services and logistics
The event provides aid stations on all courses with water and energy drink. Participants receive timing chips and results on event day and a finisher medal. There will be police or professional traffic control at major intersections and possible traffic restrictions or road closures subject to local authority approvals. The event is sanctioned and has technical support and insurance through Triathlon NSW.
Other information
The organiser plans to be pin-free by 2026 and offers reusable BibSnaps for purchase or the option to bring pins. The event lists race merchandise and items such as hoodies, long-sleeve tees and caps for early bird or on-time entries.
