Course and event details
The course follows a residential route near Norwood High, beginning and ending at the Knights of Columbus on Nichols Street and passing along Willett Parkway, Westover Parkway, Albemarle, Essex, and Croydon before returning to Nichols Street. Police detail will be posted at Nichols Street at the intersection of Willett Street and at the entrance to the Knights of Columbus. Signage will be posted along the route. Both runners and walkers are welcome. The event awards a $250 cash prize to the first place female and first place male finishers. Proceeds support the Austin Reardon Foundation, which provides scholarships to graduating Norwood High seniors. After the race there will be food, drinks, music, and raffle baskets.
