Austin Reardon Memorial 5K Road Race
The Austin Reardon Memorial 5K Walk/Run is a community road race in Norwood, Massachusetts, held to honor the life and legacy of Austin Reardon. Proceeds support the Austin Reardon Foundation, which awards scholarships to graduating Norwood High seniors who reflect Austin’s generous spirit. The event begins and ends at the Knights of Columbus on Nichols Street and follows a scenic residential route near the high school, passing along Nichols Street, Willett Parkway, Westover Parkway, Albemarle, Essex and Croydon before returning to Nichols Street. Organizers will provide signage along the route and police detail at key intersections.
Both runners and walkers are welcome. Registration opens on June 1. The event offers a cash award of $250 to the first place female and first place male finishers. After the race there will be food, music and raffle baskets on site.
