Austin Reardon Memorial 5K - Third Annual
The Austin Reardon Memorial 5K is a community 5K road event held on October 11, 2026, in Norwood, Massachusetts, with the race course beginning and ending at the Knights of Columbus on Nichols Street. The course follows a scenic residential route near Norwood High School.
Proceeds support the Austin Reardon Foundation Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to graduating Norwood High School seniors who reflect the values described by the foundation. The event also includes a charitable sock drive: for every registered runner or walker the foundation donates a new pair of socks to the Pine Street Inn. Over the past two years the community donated 950 pairs of new socks, and the organizers aim to contribute an additional 450 pairs this year.
Every participant receives a pair of exclusive AR5K socks, and the first 100 registrants receive a free race t-shirt. The event program includes music, food, and raffles.
