About the race
The Austerlitz Trail is held around the KNVB Campus in the Staatsbossen near Zeist. The event is scheduled for 23.01.2027 to 24.01.2027, subject to the availability of the KNVB Campus.
The route design uses three loops of roughly 10 km each. Participants can choose how many loops to run, which creates different total distances.
- 10 km one loop
- 20 km two loops
- 30 km three loops
The trails run through mixed forest, old lanes and open areas, and they reach the border of the Bornia nature area. The terrain includes single tracks, heather sections and some height changes that include climbs. All routes are marked with arrows and tape.
The start and finish are on the KNVB Campus grounds, where a basecamp, the finish area and the main refreshment point are located. There is a supply point at the start/finish after each loop. No disposable cups are provided so participants must bring a race cup if they want one. A race ticket shows a one-hour start window; the exact start block appears on the ticket. Participants receive additional information by email about one week before the event.
A Trailrunning Shop pop-up will be on site and the organiser offers an online shop. A commemorative medal is available as an extra purchase if selected. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
