ATW St Albans New Years Eve 10K
The ATW St Albans New Years Eve 10K is held at Highfield Park in St Albans on 31 December 2026. The single-lap route follows the flat, tree lined disused railway known as the Alban Way, runs toward Hatfield, loops via Sleapshyde and returns along the Alban Way. Most of the course is traffic free, the surface is tarmac and the finish is on a grass field.
A free Children’s Fun Run takes place shortly before the main race and does not require advance booking. The event offers on-course marshals, a well-marked route, free event photos, a custom-designed medal, and finish-line snacks and other goodies. Participants are also offered a glass of celebratory fizz at the finish.
Spectator provisions listed by the organiser include live music, a bar and a Cow Juice Coffee van for refreshments. St Albans City Station is about a 1.5 mile walk from the venue. Organisers advise that parking is limited; disabled parking is available at the usual Highfield Park entrance with What3Words location ///quiet.tender.really. Additional parking options mentioned include a small YMCA car park of around 50 bays and the Station Way multi-storey with approximately 600 bays about 1.5 miles from the start.
