ATW Love Welwyn Garden City 10k
The ATW Love Welwyn Garden City 10k returns to Hertfordshire for its 12th anniversary. This winter event takes place at Stanborough Lakes and is traditionally held around Valentine's Day. The race is open to participants aged 15 and over.
The course begins at the North Lake of Stanborough Lakes and follows a well-marked route. The path is clearly signposted, and marshals are positioned along the course to provide support to the runners. Music is featured as part of the event atmosphere. Participants are required to collect their race numbers on the morning of the event from the registration stand at the venue.
Every runner receives several items upon completing the race, including:
- A custom designed medal
- Finish line goodies
- Free professional event photos
The event supports Alzheimer's Research UK, and participants have the option to donate or fundraise for the charity during the registration process. Pay and display parking is available for attendees at the Stanborough Lakes site. The organizer provides a transfer policy that allows participants to move their entry to a future event up to 48 hours before the race if they are unable to attend.
