ATW Debden 10k and 5k
The event takes place at Debden Airfield, a disused airfield near Wimbish and Saffron Walden. The course is on tarmac, described as flat with no sharp corners. Surrounding tree cover often creates relatively still conditions on most days. The route is noted as being shaped like a plane and runs on a traffic free circuit.
Distances offered include:
- 5 km, open to entrants aged 11 and over, price £18-20
- 10 km, open to entrants aged 16 and over, price £27-29
Marshals will be present to support participants. The event provides a custom designed medal, free event photos, and finish line snacks and goodies. Ample parking is available at the venue for a £3 parking fee.
The organiser is Active Training World (ATW). The event lists a partner charity, Alzheimer's Research UK, and notes opportunities to donate and fundraise at checkout.
