Atlantic Triathlon : Far Rockaway, NY
The event takes place at Shore Front Parkway and Beach 84th Street in Far Rockaway, New York, using the Atlantic Ocean and the concrete boardwalk for the courses. Event formats include triathlon and duathlon distances with on course transitions near Beach 84th Street.

- Individual Triathlon: 0.25 mile swim in the Atlantic Ocean, 12 mile bike on the boardwalk, 3 mile run on the boardwalk.
- Beginner Triathlon: same distances, swim permitted with personal buoys and a separate start.
- Individual Duathlon: 3 mile run, 12 mile bike on the boardwalk, 3 mile run.
- Junior registration: free for ages 14 to 18 for the individual duathlon; these athletes race with adults and receive no separate awards.
Registration details vary by race and include published opening and closing dates. Fees differ by event with a listed fee for each category. No racing license is required to register. Day of registration is available with a late fee.
Participant information includes race number marking on the left arm and left leg before the swim, wetsuits are allowed, and any bike type is permitted. Transition is located by the Beach 84th Street bus stop. Free public parking is available at Beach 94th Street. Race results and event photos are published after the event, normally within 48 hours. All participants receive a running jersey; top three men and women receive medals and winners receive merchandise. Age group awards may be offered if minimum registration numbers are met.
