Event Overview

The CRDA Atlantic City Triathlon is a multisport event taking place at Bader Field in Atlantic City. It is the 16th annual edition. The event offers two main distances: Sprint and Olympic. For each distance, there are individual triathlon, aquabike (swim-bike), and relay options.

Distances

  • Sprint Triathlon: A 0.25-mile swim, an 11-mile bike, and a 5K run.
  • Sprint Aquabike: A 0.25-mile swim and an 11-mile bike.
  • Olympic Triathlon: A 1-mile swim, a 22-mile bike, and a 10K run.
  • Olympic Aquabike: A 1-mile swim and a 22-mile bike.

Course Details

All events share a swim in the calm back bay waters, not the ocean. The bike course uses the Atlantic City Expressway. The run course is primarily on the Atlantic City Boardwalk. Both the Sprint and Olympic finishes are in front of Boardwalk Hall at Kennedy Plaza.

Venue and Features

The event is held at Bader Field. A new feature for 2026 is on-site camping (CAMP AC) next to the transition area, available for RVs and tents. Registration includes a custom finisher medal, a long-sleeve technical shirt, timed results, live tracking via an app, and post-race food.
