CRDA Atlantic City Triathlon
The CRDA Atlantic City Triathlon takes place in Atlantic City, New Jersey on August 1, 2027. The event uses Bader Field for athlete check-in, transition, and the race start area, and finishes in front of Boardwalk Hall at Kennedy Plaza. The race is USAT sanctioned and includes individual, relay, and aquabike entries.
The course combines three distinct sections: a swim in the calm Back Bay (not the ocean), a bike on a closed-course section of the Atlantic City Expressway with lane and shoulder closures, and a run on the Atlantic City Boardwalk finishing at Kennedy Plaza. Water safety is supported by the Atlantic City Beach Patrol, the US Coast Guard, state police, and the Atlantic City Fire Department. The bike course may encounter cars or congestion on adjacent roads, and racers are reminded to remain alert when entering and exiting Bader Field.
Distances offered include:
- Sprint: 0.25-mile swim, 11-mile bike, 5K run
- Olympic: 1-mile swim, 22-mile bike, 10K run
Registration for racers includes a custom finisher medal, a competitor shirt, professional timing, live athlete tracking through the DelMo Elite Events app, and post-race food. The event publishes an athlete guide 2–3 weeks before race day with course maps, parking, check-in details, and race rules.
