Athgarvan GAA & LGFA Fun Run 2026

The Athgarvan GAA & LGFA Fun Run is a community athletic event held in County Kildare. The course is situated on the plains of the Curragh, providing a scenic backdrop for participants. This event is open to individuals who wish to run, jog, or walk the designated routes.

Participants can choose between two main distances:

5km
10km

The event begins and ends at Scoil Bhríde National School in Athgarvan. The organizers provide refreshments for participants in the hall following the conclusion of the activity. Every participant who completes their chosen distance receives a commemorative medal.

Recognition is given to the top performers in specific categories. Prizes are available for the first male and female finishers in both the 5km and 10km events.
