Astro Fit Challenge : Aylsham Sports Hub, 3 October 2026
The Astro Fit Challenge is an outdoor fitness event held at Aylsham Sports Hub on 3 October 2026. The arena is an open-air, high-grip 3G pitch. The event was postponed from early August due to high temperatures.
The format uses short runs before functional exercise zones. Each station begins with a 220 m run followed by work in a functional zone. There are 5 activity zones, each with three exercise stations. Examples of exercises include Farmer Carry, Plate Burpees and Box Step Overs. Each completed exercise earns points. Activity zones last 11 minutes for adult entrants, with a 5-minute rest between zones; wave duration is 1 hour 20 minutes. Timings will differ for youth entrants. Weights are adjusted according to gender and whether the entrant is an adult or a youth.
Entry categories and standard fees are listed as Single £30, Double £50, and Youth (aged 11 to 16) £25. Aylsham Sports Hub members receive a £5 discount per entrant via a member code provided by email or at reception. All bookings are managed by Total Race Timing and wave allocations are issued nearer the event. Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.
On-site parking is available in a large car park adjacent to the 3G pitch. Refreshments will be available from a Coffee Cart located just outside the pitch. Aylsham Sports Hub offers multiple facilities including a 40-station gym, spin studio, floodlit 3G pitch, swimming pool and court hire.
