ASICS Independence Day 4-Miler presented by Independent Brewing Company
The ASICS Independence Day 4-Miler presented by Independent Brewing Company takes place on July 5, 2026 in Bel Air, Maryland. The event comprises an in-person 4 mile race, called the Independence Day 4 Miler, and a Virtual Independence Day 4 Miler. The in-person course is an out-and-back on the Ma & Pa Trail and both the start and finish are at the Williams Street entrance. Strollers are not permitted on the course.
Event amenities include an ASICS technical race tank-top, an interactive RaceJoy experience, a souvenir pint glass, a hot breakfast and one beer at Independent Brewing Company for participants aged 21 and over. Packet pickup is scheduled Friday, July 3 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Charm City Run Bel Air (126 S Main Street) and on race day from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM at the Ma & Pa Trail (323 Williams Street). Packet pickup details are subject to change.
Awards for the in-person event will be presented to the top three male, female and non-binary finishers overall, top male, female and non-binary masters finisher (40+), and the top three male and female finishers in standard age groups. Awards are not offered for the virtual event. Post-race festivities and the awards ceremony are held at Independent Brewing Company (418 Main Street). The event benefits the Chesapeake Cancer Alliance and is owned and operated by Charm City Run Events.
The virtual option includes mailed or pickup swag starting July 7, race notifications on July 4 for those who opt in, and a results submission window that closes July 5 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
