Event Information
The ASC Heart & Sole 5K is a running event taking place at the Red Tail Pavilion on East Spring Creek Parkway in Plano, Texas. The event includes a 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run. This is the 16th annual edition of the event, and it benefits the Shared Housing Center, which provides affordable housing and supportive services to at-risk single-parent families and elderly individuals in Dallas.
Participation and Awards
The event welcomes kids, dogs, runners, walkers, and families. All finishers receive a long-sleeve t-shirt and a finisher item. Awards are given for the 1st Overall Male & Female Finishers and 1st Overall Masters Male & Female. Age group awards are also available for categories from 1-14 up to 70+. Chip timing is required to be eligible for top finisher awards.
Race Day Festivities
After the runs, a race party begins with family-friendly activities. This includes breakfast tacos, hot cocoa, coffee, pastries, granola bars, and other snacks. There will be a post-race beer garden, a free photo booth with props, and a kids zone featuring a bounce house, face painting, and a balloon artist.
Registration and Logistics
Packet pickup is available the Sunday before the race at two 7-Eleven locations in Dallas and Plano. Registration fees for both the 5K and Fun Run follow a tiered pricing structure, with a youth pricing of $15.00 automatically applied for participants aged 14 and under.
