Event

The Heart & Sole 5K is ASC’s 16th annual race on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Oak Point Park in Plano, Texas. The event benefits Shared Housing Center, which provides affordable housing options and supportive services to at-risk single-parent families and elderly residents in the Dallas area. Kids, dogs, runners, walkers, and families are welcome.

1 Mile Fun Run

All finishers receive a finisher item and a long-sleeve t-shirt. Awards include 1st overall Male and Female, 1st overall Masters Male and Female, and age-group awards for 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Chip timing is required to be eligible for top finisher awards. Youth pricing of $15.00 applies automatically for ages 14 and under.

Logistics and festival

Packet pickup is offered the Sunday before the race at two 7-Eleven locations with pickup times from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm: 5712 Skillman Avenue, Dallas, TX 75206, and 3940 W. 15th Street, Plano, TX 75075. Post-race festivities include breakfast, live music, a photo booth, and a kids zone with a bounce house, face painters, and a balloon artist. Food and beverage providers listed for the event include Laredo Taco Company, La Madeleine, 7-Eleven, and a Ranch20Spirits beer area.
