Arsenal City 5K Run
The Arsenal City 5K Run is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, 2026 in Watervliet, NY. The event is presented as the 44th Annual Arsenal City Run and includes both a competitive 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run.
Location details list City Hall at 2 15th St, Watervliet, NY 12189. A course map is provided for the 5K. Results for the 5K have been recorded and made available for years going back to 2002.
A portion of race proceeds benefit the City’s Adopt-A-Family Holiday Program. Cash prizes are awarded in several categories; the published breakdown includes: Top male and female 1st, 2nd, 3rd for $100, $50, $25; Top Watervliet resident male and female 1st, 2nd, 3rd for $75, $50, $25; and Top sponsored runner male and female 1st, 2nd, 3rd for $75, $50, $25.
Registration fee information is published: pre-registration is $10 through August 1, increases to $15 afterward, and is $20 on race day. Packet pick-up and new registration are available on race day.
Post-race activities are described for participants and families. These include bouncy bounce, face painting, balloon sculptures, complimentary beer for participants with ID checks, food vendors, live music, and an awards ceremony.
