Arlington Heights 50K : Fort Worth
The Arlington Heights 50K is a free, community-supported ultramarathon held in Arlington Heights, Fort Worth, with shorter distance options for community members. Runners follow a looped course through the neighborhood and have access to a continuously staffed aid station offering water, electrolytes, running nutrition, fruit, salty snacks, recovery food, and encouragement from volunteers and spectators.
The event is organized as a gathering rather than a competition. Ultramarathon participants start together in the morning, while a separate community 5K run or walk takes place for friends, family, and others who prefer a shorter distance. As runners finish, the event shifts into a finish festival with coffee, food, music, and celebrations for finishers.
Registration has no fee thanks to local sponsors and partners, and donations to Mission of Hope are optional. The event provides free parking and allows minors when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. There is no prize money and no elite field; the focus is on community participation and shared endurance efforts.
Location: 4219 Calmont Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76107.
