Arkansas Run For The Fallen 5K
The Arkansas Run For The Fallen 5K takes place in Little Rock on March 15, 2026 at the Arkansas State Capitol, 500 Woodlane St. The event includes an in person 5K and a virtual 5K. Entry for each event is listed at $30.
This event is organized as a memorial run rather than a timed race. In person participants run together to honor fallen heroes who were individually recognized over the weekend. Participants in the in person 5K must be able to maintain a 10 minute per mile pace for the distance. Runners report to the state Capitol to be transported to the start and the run concludes at the state Capitol, followed by a closing ceremony.
The event offers honor bibs that say "I'm running in honor of..." so participants can write the name of the fallen hero they are honoring. The first 100 participants will receive a memorial bracelet. The deadline for race shirt selection is March 1, 2026; shirt availability depends on registration timing.
