Arches Marathon and Half - Moab, Utah
Arches Marathon and Half is a fall trail running event in Moab, Utah, held on October 3, 2026. The event offers multiple distances:

The start and finish are at the same location near the Behind the Rocks Wilderness Study Area.
Course and logistics
Courses run on trail, sandy double track, jeep road, and desert meadow trails with views of the La Sal Mountains, Picture Frame Arch, red cliffs, and canyon scenery. Course elevation varies by distance. Examples from the course data:
- 50K: lowest 4516 ft, highest 5726 ft, elevation gain 2979 ft.
- Marathon: lowest 4516 ft, highest 5726 ft, elevation gain 2644 ft.
- Half Marathon: lowest 5184 ft, highest 5727 ft, elevation gain 1178 ft.
- 15K: lowest 5228 ft, highest 5726 ft, elevation gain 745 ft.
Aid stations are cupless; runners must bring a reusable cup or bladder. Water dispensers are provided at the start/finish and at every aid station. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at the start/finish area. Mad Moose Base Camp offers free, participant-only camping for runners and their family or crew. Participants receive a custom race shirt, a BOCO trucker hat, and a finisher medal. Results are posted on Ultrasignup and race photos are provided by a contracted photographer.
