ARC Irene Trail Run/Walk
ARC Irene Trail Run/Walk is a trail running and walking event held at the Irene Athletics Club inside the Agricultural Research Centre (ARC) Irene in Centurion, Gauteng. The venue offers a clubhouse with coffee, drinks and snacks, plus parking and venue entry.

- 3 km trail (half trail, half road)
- 3 km kids and pensioners (half trail, half road)
- 5 km kids and pensioners
- 10 km kids and pensioners
- 15 km pensioners
- 21 km pensioners
Entry fees vary by distance for pre-entries and increase by R30 for on-the-day entry; kids under 13 and adults over 60 pay a flat R80 with no additional on-the-day charge. Race numbers are distributed on the morning of the event at registration.
Route and support details: all trail routes are full-distance with no loops, water tables are provided on all routes, and walking or hiking is permitted on the 2 km, 5 km, 10 km, and 15 km routes. The road option stays within ARC Irene grounds only. GPX files, route maps and elevation profiles are available online.
Additional notes: pets are not allowed. Entry includes a finisher medal and Vitality points. Participants may donate their medal to the Make a Difference Campaign for an animal shelter; donated medals and other contributions are collected in a campaign box.
