Aid stations are placed roughly every 4 to 7 miles and provide water, an electrolyte drink, sweet and salty snacks, and fruit. The event uses chip timing with results posted as gun time and includes split tracking for live follow along. Pacers are allowed only for the final loop of the 50K. Crews can access the start and finish area only. Drop bags are available at the start/finish and accessible on each loop. A 5:00 PM overall cutoff applies, giving up to ten hours for completion of the full course.
Course markings include orange plastic ribbons and laminated signs, with blue and white checkerboard flagging marking non-race trails. Medical staff are based at the start/finish headquarters and may remove participants from the race for safety reasons. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers at each distance. Onsite amenities include parking at the north lot, a tent only group campground, and on-course camping options. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
