Course and logistics
Courses run on desert trails at the foothills of the Sierra Estrella mountains and include crushed granite single track, rocks, boulders, sandy washes, old jeep roads, and dry wash beds. The 100 Mile course uses two 10-mile red loops and three 27-mile blue loops; runners pass the start/finish area multiple times. A 1.5-2 mile section called Corgett Wash can be very sandy.
Aid stations are stocked and cupless service is in effect - runners should bring or obtain a reusable cup. Chip timing and live split tracking are provided. Crews are allowed at the start/finish and at Horse Thief Aid (with restrictions); pacers are permitted for the 100 Mile and 100K after specified mileage. Drop bags are allowed at Rumble HQ for all distances; remote drop bags are available for longer distances. Parking, camping, and tent rental options are available at the Competitive Track; a park entry fee applies per vehicle. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
