Coldwater Rumble Trail Runs
Coldwater Rumble Trail Runs takes place Saturday, January 16, 2027 at Estrella Mountain Regional Park in Goodyear, Arizona. The event is centered at the Estrella Mountain Competitive Track and offers multiple trail distances using loops through the park foothills.

The 100 mile course consists of two 10 mile red loops followed by three 27 mile blue loops, with runners passing the start/finish area four times. All courses run on desert trails in the foothills of the Sierra Estrella. Trail surfaces include crushed granite single track, rocks, boulders, sandy washes, old jeep roads, and dry wash beds. Many trails have been reworked and several new miles are used on the course.
A 1.5 to 2 mile section called Corgett Wash can be very sandy. Hiking poles are allowed but are noted as less useful; gaiters are suggested for sandy sections. The event includes an extended period of night running and substantial day to night temperature swings. Aid stations are described as well stocked and the series operates cupless aid stations with reusable cups available.
Support logistics include crew access at the Rumble headquarters and limited crew access at Horse Thief Aid, pacer allowances for certain distances, and permitted drop bags at Rumble HQ with remote drop options for some longer distances.
