About the race
Across the Years is a multi-day fixed-time running event held around New Year in Peoria, AZ. The 2026-27 edition takes place December 28, 2026 to January 3, 2027 at the Peoria Sports Complex and is organized by Aravaipa Running. The event uses a continuous clock format: runners cover as much distance as they choose within each fixed-time competition and may stop or rest while the clock continues to run.
The event offers a mix of fixed-time and fixed-distance races with multiple entry options:
- 6-day fixed-time race
- 24-hour fixed-time race
- 48-hour fixed-time race
- 72-hour fixed-time race
- 100 mile fixed-distance
- 200 mile fixed-distance

An optional "Around the Clock" challenge asks participants in fixed-time events to complete at least one lap within each hour of their event to earn a token of achievement.
