Aer Arann Islands Half Marathon 2026
The Aer Arann Islands Half Marathon takes place on Inis Mór during the weekend of 10 to 12 April 2026, with the half marathon held on Saturday 11 April 2026. The event is organised to raise funds for patient care at the Mater Hospital; funds raised support doctors and nurses in providing care to critically ill patients.
Participants secure a place with a deposit and commit to meeting a further fundraising target that varies by ticket type. Two main ticket packages are offered: a weekend package priced at €750 (composed of a €100 deposit and €650 fundraising commitment) and a one night package priced at €600 (composed of a €100 deposit and €500 fundraising commitment). Each package includes return flights between Inverin and Inis Mór, bed and breakfast accommodation, one or two evening dinners depending on the package, marathon entry and event merchandise.
Limited single occupancy rooms are available and a single room supplement applies. Ticket sales are managed online for the event period. The organiser provides package details and fundraising information to participants and coordinates logistics for travel, accommodation and race entry on the island.
