Aquaman - Richland, WA

Aquaman is scheduled for July 31, 2026 at Howard Amon Park in Richland, Washington. The event combines an open-water swim and a run, with additional team categories reserved for youth athletes aged 13 to 18. The team entries serve as fundraisers for local swimming and cross country programs.

Format and distances:

Course description: the swim takes place in the Columbia River along the length of Howard Amon Park. The run follows park foot paths heading south and finishes back in the park.

Entry and logistics: standard race entry fees are $25 if completed by July 20 and $40 after that date; 3RRR club members receive a small pre-registration discount. A one day USA Triathlon license is required for participants who are not current USAT members. Registration is limited to 300 athletes, is online only, and closes on July 27 or earlier if the field fills; late registration fees apply after the pre-registration deadline. There are no refunds and entries are not transferable.

Event services and awards: timing chips will record splits and finish times and are distributed at check-in. Packet pickup is available the day before at Atomic Ale Brewpub. All finishers receive a finisher medal from a sponsor. Awards are given to the top three overall men and women and to top three in designated age groups.
