Aquaman
Aquaman is a swim-run held on July 31, 2026 at Howard Amon Park in Richland, Washington. The event format is a half mile swim in the Columbia River followed by a three mile run along footpaths heading south from the park, with the finish back in the park. The total distance is 3.5 miles.
Entry is online only and the field is limited to 300 athletes. The standard entry fee is $25 if completed by the pre-registration deadline of July 20 and $40 after that date; a $15 late fee applies after July 20. Members of the 3RRR club receive a $2 discount if they register by the pre-registration deadline. If not a current USA Triathlon member, participants must obtain a one-day USAT license. No race day registration is available and entries are nonrefundable and not transferable.
There are youth team categories for athletes 13 to 18 years old only. Each team consists of one swimmer and one runner; team entries are separate from the individual race and have a lower fee. Packet pickup is the day before the race at Atomic Ale Brewpub. Chip timing will be used and chips are distributed race morning at check-in. All finishers receive a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three overall men and women and to the top three in the following age groups: 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-75, 76-80.
