Appomattox River Greenway 5k and 10k
This event offers two distances on the paved Appomattox River Greenway in Colonial Heights, Virginia, at 401 E Roslyn Rd. The course follows the river and has minor elevation changes, providing river views along a paved trail.

The event is chip timed. Runners receive a finisher medal and a technical Drifit event shirt. A virtual race option is available for participants who cannot attend in person. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered; participants are advised to arrive about one hour before the event to check in. T shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before June 3 and additional shirts are available after that on a first come, first served basis.
Water stations are positioned approximately at mile markers 1.3 and 1.8 on the 5k, and at 1.3, 1.8, 3.1, 4.4, and 4.9 on the 10k. Gatorade will be available at some stations. Port a johns are onsite. Parking is available at the Appomattox River Greenway Trail; the listed coordinates are 37.244906, -77.381254.
