Apple Hill Running Event
The Apple Hill Half Marathon & 5K takes place in Camino, California, situated in the Sierra foothills near Placerville. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Camino Union School District and the Camino School PTO to support educational experiences for students. The courses are set within an agricultural community known for its history in farming and winemaking.

- Kids races for children aged 12 and under
The routes are conducted on paved roads that pass through local farmland, vineyards, and orchards. The half marathon course is located in the heart of the Sierra foothills, while the 5K course provides an opportunity for participants to pursue personal records.
All registered participants receive a long-sleeve tech tee and a finisher medal. Those entered in the Half Marathon also receive a commemorative souvenir. Top finishers in various age groups are awarded items such as pies and treats from local bakeries and farms. An optional wine package, which includes a keepsake glass, is available for an additional fee.
