About the race
5k road race held as part of the Apple Harvest Day festival in Dover, New Hampshire. The event takes place on October 3, 2026 at 32 St Thomas St and uses a USATF certified course that winds through historic downtown Dover. The race is described as suitable for a range of participants and serves as the opening event for the town's fall street festival.
Each runner aged 21 and over receives two complimentary beverages; non alcoholic sparkling cider is also available. Children in strollers do not need to be registered. Cash prizes are awarded to the top male and female overall finishers and to the first Dover male and female runner to cross the finish line. Race t shirts are available to the first 200 registrants who are not DRS passholders.
Online registration pricing listed in event materials includes a $30 fee for participants aged 21 and over and $25 for those under 21, with processing fees applied to online transactions. To avoid online processing fees, payments by cash or check may be made in person at the Chamber office at 550 Central Ave., Dover. The event page lists several community sponsors and an underwriter.
