Apple Harvest 10k

The Apple Harvest 10k is a certified out and back running race that takes participants through the towns of Shelburne and Charlotte. The course follows a route that includes Bostwick, Orchard, and Lake roads, beginning and ending at Shelburne Town Beach. The terrain consists of a mixture of dirt and paved roads.

Notable landmarks along the route include apple orchards, a covered bridge at the turnaround point, and views along Lake Champlain. Water stations are positioned at approximately the 2-mile and 4-mile marks. The timing for the finish line remains active for 90 minutes.

The race is open to runners aged 12 and older, while participants under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Regulations for the event prohibit running with dogs or baby joggers. Additionally, the Town of Shelburne does not permit dogs at the beach or within the park.

Event parking is available on-site at the Shelburne Town Beach lot. Participants can access refreshments at the beach following the race. Nearby, Shelburne Orchards offers apple picking and seasonal food items on the day of the event. Prizes are awarded to top finishers across various age groups.
