Apple Harvest 10k

The Apple Harvest 10K takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in Shelburne, Vermont. The event starts and finishes at Shelburne Town Beach, 407 Beach Rd. The certified course (VT13007JK) is an out-and-back through Charlotte that uses a mix of dirt and paved roads. The route passes apple orchards, offers views along Lake Champlain, and reaches a covered bridge at the turnaround point. Water stops are located at approximately 2 and 4 miles.

Registration, fees and rules

Pre-registration is required and closes on September 20 or when the field reaches 180 participants. There is no race day registration. Entry fees are $20 for pre-registration; GMAA members receive a $5 discount. There are no refunds, deferrals, or transfers. Bib pickup is available on race morning at Shelburne Town Beach.

Open to runners age 12 and older; runners under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire race. The Town of Shelburne prohibits dogs on the beach and in the park. GMAA rules prohibit running with a baby jogger or a dog, and the use of headphones is strongly discouraged.

Parking is available on site at the Shelburne Town Beach lot. Prizes are awarded to top men’s, women’s and non-binary finishers in each age group, followed by a GMAA prize raffle. Shelburne Orchards, near the one mile mark, will be open race day with apple picking, cider doughnuts, and cider; refreshments will be provided after the race at Shelburne Beach.
