Apple Harvest 10k

The event is a certified 10K out-and-back course (certificate VT13007JK) that begins and ends at Shelburne Town Beach in Shelburne, Vermont. The route passes through Shelburne and Charlotte, using a mix of dirt and paved roads and running along Bostwick, Orchard, and Lake roads. Notable features along the course include apple orchards, views of Lake Champlain, and a covered bridge at the turnaround point. Water stops are provided at approximately 2 and 4 miles.

Pre-registration is required and closes on Friday, September 25 at noon or when 180 participants are registered. There is no race day registration. Pre-registered runners may collect bibs at Shelburne Town Beach during the posted pickup window; bib pickup closes promptly as stated by the organizer. The finish line timing is active for 90 minutes from the start of the race; participants not recorded within that period may not appear in final results.

Entry fee information notes a pre-registration price of $20 with a discount for GMAA members. Event parking is available on site at the Shelburne Town Beach lot. There are no refunds, deferrals, or transfers.

Age and safety rules specify the race is open to runners 12 and older; runners under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the race. The Town of Shelburne prohibits dogs on the beach and in the park. GMAA rules prohibit running with a baby jogger or dog and strongly discourage the use of headphones. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
