Event overview
The Apple Harvest 10K takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in Shelburne, Vermont. The event starts and finishes at Shelburne Town Beach (407 Beach Rd., Shelburne, VT 05482). Pre-registration is required online and closes Friday, September 20 at noon or when the field reaches 180 participants. There is no race day registration. Bib pickup is available at Shelburne Town Beach between 7:45 and 8:45 AM and will close promptly at 8:45. There are no refunds, deferrals, or transfers.
Course, fees and services
The course is a certified (VT13007JK) out-and-back 10K through Charlotte. The route combines dirt and paved roads and passes apple orchards, views along Lake Champlain, and a covered bridge at the turnaround. The start and finish are at Shelburne Town Beach and the course proceeds along Bostwick, Orchard, and Lake roads. Water stops are located at approximately 2 and 4 miles.
Pre-registration entry fee is $20; GMAA members receive a $5 discount. Prizes are awarded to top men’s, women’s, and non-binary finishers in each age group, followed by a prize raffle. Event parking is available on site at the Shelburne Town Beach lot. Shelburne Orchards, near the one mile mark, will be open race day and refreshments will be provided at Shelburne Beach after the race. Restrictions include a minimum age of 12 to run alone; runners under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Dogs and baby joggers are prohibited.
