Apple Fest Run/Walk
Apple Fest Run/Walk takes place in Gays Mills, Wisconsin at Lions Club Park near 506 Main Street. The event includes multiple distances held on an out‑and‑back course on West River Road that follows rolling hills in the Kickapoo area. The start and finish are by the dam in Gays Mills.
Distances:
- 440 yards kids run
- 2 miles run and walk
- 5 miles run
The 2 mile and 5 mile races use chip timing. Age divisions are provided for the 2 mile and 5 mile events with separate male and female divisions: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Youth run divisions include 6 & under and 7-14. Trophies are awarded to the fastest male and female in the 2 mile and 5 mile races; the top three in each age group receive prizes and must be present to accept them.
Registration opens and closes on published dates. Same day registration is available at the Lions Shelter park adjacent to the Gays Mills bridge across from Robb Park from 7:30 to 8:15. Published entry fees vary by event and date; prices increase after 09/09/2026 and T shirts are not guaranteed for late registrations.
