Course Details

The course for the 2 Mile and 5 Mile events is described as a "classic Driftless area course" with many hills and some level sections. The 5-mile route follows a wooded backroad leading out of town. Runners start and finish by the dam in Gays Mills, with the Kickapoo River alongside part of the course. The event takes place during the fall season.

Logistics

Race-day registration is available from 7:30 AM to 8:15 AM at the Lions Shelter park, which is adjacent to the Gays Mills bridge and across the street from Robb Park. The 2 Mile and 5 Mile runs are chip-timed.

Registration

Registration opens on March 1, 2026. Standard registration prices are $30 for the 2 Mile Run and 5 Mile Run, and $20 for the Kids 1⁄4 Mile Run and 2 Mile Walk. These prices increase after September 9, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
