Apex- Halloween Hustle 5k and Minion's Mile
The event takes place on October 24, 2026 at the City Recreation Department at 110 Lumpkin Dr., Carrollton, GA. It includes a kids one mile and a full 5k held on the greenbelt and park areas near the pavilion.
The Halloween 5k is a 3.1 mile course that begins at the City Rec Dept and runs through the woods, passes Castle Playground and the East Carrollton soccer fields, and reaches a turnaround at the Log Cabin. The total elevation change is approximately 250 feet. The course crosses two roadways and offers several rest areas with park benches and hydration tables. The Minion's Mile is a one mile kids race with a halfway turnaround.
Event features include decorations, festive Halloween music, fog machines, a costume contest with best dressed prizes, custom medals, face paint, candy, free cotton candy and popcorn, and options to add event gear during registration. Awards are given to top finishers and by five year age groups for both genders, with divisions spanning teens through 70 and older. The race is listed as a Peachtree qualifying event.
