27th Annual Ladies Auxiliary of F.O.E. Apache Run 5K, Alex's One Mile Fun Run, and Jason Kline Memorial Color Runs
This event at Fairview Elementary in Sherwood, OH includes several running and color run distances on school property and adjacent grassy areas. The 5K is described as a flat, fast out and back course that starts at the elementary school. The color runs take place on the grassy lot by the elementary school and are non-competitive.
Distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles) out and back starting at Fairview Elementary
- 1 mile fun run at the elementary school
- 0.6 mile color run (two laps on the grassy lot)
- 1.2 mile color run (four laps on the grassy lot)
Age groups are defined for awards. For the 5K, age divisions run from 12 and under through 70 and over with plaques for the top three overall and plaques to the top two in each age group; plaques will be personalized with names and times. For the color runs, age divisions cover 12 and under through 50 and over with plaques for top male and female and medals for top in each age group. The one mile fun run is open to all ages.
Entry fees vary by event and whether a T-shirt is included: the 5K is listed as $15 with a T-shirt and $10 without; color runs and the fun run use $12 with shirt and $8 without as listed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
