TREK Antwerp Marathon
The TREK Antwerp Marathon is a multi-distance running event held in Antwerp. Participants can choose between three different distances:
- Marathon (42.195 km)
- Half Marathon (21.1 km)
- 10K (10 km)
The event includes several services for participants. Every finisher receives a unique medal, and there is an option to have the medal engraved with a name and finish time for a fee. Marathon participants receive an event running shirt as part of their registration. The course features refreshment stations and electronic timing via a chip.
Practical facilities include a storage area for sports bags and changing tents. A pacer team is available for the marathon to help runners maintain specific target speeds. The event has fixed time limits for safety; runners have 5.5 hours to complete the marathon and 3 hours for the half marathon. Bib numbers can be collected on the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the event weekend.
Official photos are taken during the race. Specialized plant-based protein bars are provided to participants after the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
