Antelope Island Buffalo Run - Spring Classic
The Antelope Island Buffalo Run is an annual spring trail running event held on Antelope Island in the Mountain West. The course offers views of the Great Salt Lake, rolling singletrack through desert grasslands, and sections where wild bison may be present along the route.
The event features multiple race distances:
- 50 Miles: ~3,428 ft gain
- 50K (≈31 miles): ~3,038 ft gain
- 25K (≈16.48 miles): ~1,687 ft gain
Registration fees vary by distance and date. Early and later registration tiers listed by the organizer include:
- 50 Mile: $210 (until Dec 31), $240 (until Mar 28)
- 50K: $150 (until Dec 31), $175 (until Mar 28)
- 25K: $120 (until Dec 31), $130 (until Mar 28)
Pentalon Construction sponsors a course-record prize purse with awards for each distance: $500 for the 50 mile division (male and female), $500 for the 50K division (male and female), and $250 for the 25K division (male and female). The published race fee does not include the Runsignup processing fee or taxes.
