Annapolis Striders Women's Distance Festival 5K
The event features a women's only 5K race followed by a companion men only 5K. It serves as one race in the Maryland RRCA Women’s Distance Festival Grand Prix Series and as the graduation race for the Annapolis Striders 5K Beginning Runners Program.

Online registration is available through July 9, 2026, with mail-in entries required to be postmarked by July 2, 2026. Entry fees vary by registration date, with early bird, regular, and race day rates; no refunds or transfers. Race day registration and packet pick-up begin at 6:30 AM in the West Annapolis Elementary School cafeteria on the Tucker Street side.
The course is an open two-loop route through the Wardour neighborhood on paved roads, mostly flat with a few hills and one wooden foot bridge. There are two water stops, one at the foot bridge and one near the start and finish area. Ample free on-street parking is available in the neighborhood around West Annapolis Elementary School, 505 Melvin Avenue, Annapolis MD 21401.
Chip timing is provided and official results will be posted after the race. Race rules prohibit headphones or earbuds, baby joggers or strollers, bicycles, and animals. Overall and age-group awards are given, including mother and daughter team awards. A race premium is planned for the first 150 applicants and post-race food will be available.
