About the race
The Angel for Autism 5K GLOW Run/Walk is the 17th annual event held at Nashville Park, 604 E Memorial Dr, Nashville, IL 62263. The event includes 5K running and walking options, a kids fun run, and pickleball tournaments.
Distances
- 3.12 miles for the 5K run and the 5K walk or silent walker
- 0.5 miles for the Kids Fun Run
Pickleball is included as a tournament with two age divisions: 18 and younger, and 19 and older. Registration asks each entrant to provide teammate names and a team name. Each age division is limited to 16 teams.
Registration opens at different times depending on the event, between May 27 and July 29, 2026, and closes on August 18, 2026. Event fees are listed as $25.00 for each 5K and for the pickleball tournaments, and $15.00 for the Kids Fun Run.
The Angel for Autism slogan was created to help remember a person connected to the local community. Funds raised through the event are used to maintain existing sensory rooms in and around the Nashville area and to establish scholarships for new sensory rooms.
