4th Annual Angel Dash for DIPG 5K & 1M
The 4th Annual Angel Dash for DIPG is a combined 5K and 1 Mile family walk/run held on May 9, 2026 at Core Creek Park, Pavilion 11, in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. The event is offered both in person and virtually and will take place rain or shine.
Distances and formats include:
- 5K timed run
- 1 Mile family walk/run along Lake Luxembourg
Registration options list a fee of $40 for the available entries. For in-person participants, shirts for the 5K are delivered on race day; shirts for the 1 Mile and for virtual entries with a shirt are delivered after race day. A virtual no shirt option is also offered. The in-person event includes local registration on site on the day of the event.
All proceeds benefit Elle's Angels Foundation to fund research into pediatric brain cancer with a focus on DIPG. The foundation was started in November 2021 in honor of a child who died of DIPG. The event materials note that DIPG is responsible for a large share of pediatric brain cancer deaths, has a nearly 0 percent survival rate, and that less than 1 percent of federal cancer research funding is earmarked for all pediatric brain cancer.
