Anchor Bay Triathlon, 41st Annual
The Anchor Bay Triathlon is a sprint triathlon held in Downtown New Baltimore on July 11, 2026. The event combines open water swimming in Lake St. Clair with a bike course through New Baltimore and a finishing run near Walter & Mary Burke Park.
The course consists of:
- 1/2 mile swim in Lake St. Clair
- 11 mile bike around New Baltimore
- 3 mile run
Participants may enter as individuals or as part of relay teams. Age divisions are organized in standard five year brackets and include 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and up. The swim uses four wave starts; wave assignments are based on expected swim time provided at registration.
Registration fees vary by registration period: Early Bird April 1 to April 30 is $100 individual and $135 relay team; Regular May 1 to June 13 is $125 individual and $160 relay team; Late June 14 to June 27 is $150 individual and $190 relay team. Each participant receives a race shirt and a participation medal, and late registrants are not guaranteed a specific shirt size.
