Analog Time Trial at Kezar Stadium
This event is a track time trial held at Kezar Stadium and organized by Excelsior Running Club, Nth Degree, Progression Run Club, and Mizuno. Participants attempt an 800 meter run while aiming for a chosen target time.
Digital running watches are not permitted. Other non-digital timing methods or devices may be used. Each heat is run separately and the closest runner to the chosen time in a given heat wins a free entry to the Blue Heron 5K on Fourth of July 2026. Runners may attempt multiple heats and organizers may add more heats if entry volume requires it.
Organizers provide a brief rundown and a short warm up before heats begin. Mizuno will bring demo shoes for participants to try. The meeting point is the northeast corner bleachers of Kezar Stadium. The format emphasizes individual pacing within heats and repeated attempts are allowed for those who want to try different target times.
