Anaheim Firecracker 5K/10K
The Anaheim Firecracker event on July 4, 2026 takes place in Anaheim, CA near Canyon High School at 220 S. Imperial Hwy. The program offers timed and untimed options over two distances and includes on-course support and post-finish amenities.
Distances:
- 5 km - timed running
- 5 km - untimed walking
- 10 km - timed running
All timed participants receive a timing chip attached to their bib and official times are recorded when a runner crosses the start timing mat. Course markers and clearly marked turnaround points are provided for both distances. Strollers and dogs are permitted on the course. Portable restrooms will be available on site; lines are expected to be busiest shortly before the start.
Parking is available in the Canyon High School parking lot, on nearby streets, and in surrounding neighborhoods. Participants may bring their own hydration; additional hydration stations and local expo booths will be available near the finish area. Packet pickup details are to be determined and will be announced later.
Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each age group. Age groups are: 14 and under; 15 to 20; 21 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
