Amigo Man 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk
The event marks the AMIGO MAN 50th anniversary and takes place at the McKelligon Canyon Amphitheater in El Paso, Texas. It offers two distance choices:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile walk (1 mile)
Registration carries a fee of $35 with a military discount of $5. Pets may attend free of charge; the first 50 pets will receive a bandana. Finisher medals are reserved for the first 200 athletes to cross the finish line.
Packet pick-up is scheduled at the Visit El Paso Visitor Center, 1 Civic Center Plaza. Packet pick-up runs from Wednesday, April 28 through Saturday, May 1, and there will be no race day packet pick-up.
Post-race activities include vendors, food trucks, and a yoga session at 9:00. The event description notes that all pets will receive a bandana during post-race activities.
