Ames Midnight Madness Road Race
The Ames Midnight Madness Road Race is a nighttime running event in downtown Ames, Iowa, held on July 10, 2026 at 504 Burnett Avenue. The event centrepiece is a community 5K road race accompanied by a short kids fun run and a post-race celebration with food, beverages, and live music.

Packet pickup is staged at Torrent Brewery. A post-race celebration runs in the same downtown area and includes live music and food and beverage service. Awards are presented for the 5K: the top three male and female finishers in each age division. Age divisions listed for awards include 9U, 10-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+.
