American Heritage Girls Run for His Glory 5K
This event is a community 5K run held on August 15, 2026 at Early Town Center Park in Early, Texas. It is organized by a nonprofit, faith based American Heritage Girls troop associated with High Mesa Cowboy Church. The troop serves girls ages 5 to 18 and emphasizes spiritual development, community support, and opportunities to earn patches, badges, and pins.
The fundraiser’s stated mission is to raise money for scholarships for future AHG members to make the program more affordable to the Brownwood community. The event program includes live bands, booths, and food trucks.
Registration opens January 7, 2026 and closes August 4, 2026. Early registration through August 3 is listed at $35 for the 5K; group pricing for groups of ten or more is $25 per person with the discount applied after the tenth registrant. Children under five are free. Late registration fee for the 5K is $40.
Packet pick-up is scheduled for August 8, 2026 at High Mesa Cowboy Church, 1100 High Mesa Dr, Brownwood, TX 76801. Award categories include male and female divisions by age groups 6-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-17, 18-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus, plus overall male and female winners.
