Ambulance Driver 5K at BADSONS Brewery

The Ambulance Driver 5K at BADSONS Brewery takes place on July 15, 2026 in Derby, Connecticut. The event is organized by Derby’s Storm Engine Company Ambulance & Rescue Corps and is staged at BADSONS Brewery, 251 Roosevelt Drive, Derby CT 06418.

Kids Fun Run 1/2 mile for ages 12 and under

Registered participants receive a short sleeve technical race shirt, a finisher medal, and a goodie bag. The Kids Fun Run is hosted by members of Storm Engine Company #2 and all youth finishers receive a medal and a fire safety swag bag. Awards include overall top first responder, top first responder by division, and age group awards new for 2026.

Course features include a water stop on course, an optional sprinkler station, and a start and finish displayed under an oversized American flag provided by the Derby Fire Department. Post race activities include an official after party at BADSONS Brewery. Runners 21 and over receive one free draft beer and the first 250 registered runners receive 10 free wings from the Dew Drop Inn.

Packet pickup will be available with dates and times announced closer to the race. Proceeds support operations, training, and lifesaving equipment for Derby’s Ambulance and Rescue Corps, which has served the community since 1948. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
