Amasa Trail Race
Amasa Trail Race takes place in Moab, Utah, with a start area at Kane Creek Recreation Parking and running along Kane-Springs Creek. The event offers the following distances:
- 25K
- 15K
- 10K
Course routes travel through several named trail sections. Runners follow Cliffhanger Trail, which passes petroglyphs carved into the cliffs of Kane Springs Canyon, and then join the Amasa Back alignment near the Captain Ahab Trail and Whale Rock. The 25K route drops into Jackson's Hole and uses smooth double track before rejoining 15K runners on Rockstacker Trail. The final approaches include technical terrain and a descent with views of the Colorado River.
The terrain and scenery include views of the Behind the Rocks fins and the La Sal Mountains, along with varied singletrack and double track surfaces. Registration for the event closes on Wed, Apr 8 at 11:59PM MT.
