Legacy Run details
The Legacy Run is part of the Alabama Race Series and takes place in Liberty Park in Birmingham, Alabama. The event begins and ends at Vestavia Hills Elementary Liberty Park and includes both in-person and virtual options. It is organized by the foundation to support efforts to overcome cancer. The majority of proceeds will fund a memorial scholarship established by the foundation and the Vestavia Hills Elementary Liberty Park PTO; that scholarship will be awarded annually to a senior VHELP alumni at VHHS through 2035.
Race formats include multiple distances and a school-only timed mile. Race shirts are provided to registrants who register by October 30. Parking will be available at Liberty Park Middle School. One timed mile is restricted to Liberty Park Middle School students only. A virtual 5K/10K option is available for remote participants.
