2026 Alzheimer Calgary Walk & Run
The Alzheimer Calgary Walk & Run takes place on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Prince's Island Park. The event offers walk and fun run formats to support people and families affected by dementia in Calgary. The Fun Run format was introduced based on participant feedback to create a more inclusive experience.

A Memory Wall allows participants to add a photo, video or story via Kudoboard to honour or celebrate someone. There will be no advanced race package pick-up this year; participant items, including socks, will be available at the registration tent on event day. The event accepts in-person participation and also offers a virtual option.
Organizers note that last year more than 1,800 participants joined in person and over $425,000 was raised. The event's signature colour is red and costumes are encouraged, contributing to a community-focused atmosphere. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
