Altrincham Beer Mile 2026
The Altrincham Beer Mile returns for its final edition at the Timperley Track, located at the Altrincham Athletics Club. This event combines running with socialising, requiring participants to complete four laps of the athletics track. The gathering features a variety of race formats to accommodate different preferences and team sizes.
Participants are required to bring their own beverages for the races. For the standard mile event, this typically involves four standard 330ml bottles of beer or fruit cider. The event provides a catering service featuring a BBQ with both meat and vegan or vegetarian options, which is included in the entry fee alongside a special memento.

- The Beer Mile: Individual race consisting of 4 laps and 4 beers.
- The Prosecco Mile: Individual race with one glass of prosecco per lap.
- The Relay: A 4x400m relay where each team member runs one lap and consumes one beverage.
- Kids Fruit Shoot 400: A single 400m lap combined with a fruit juice drink.
