Altrincham Beer Mile 2026 : Timperley Track, Altrincham Athletics Club
This edition is presented as the final Altrincham Beer Mile after ten years. The event takes place on 10 July 2026 at the Timperley Track, located at Altrincham Athletics Club, Grove Lane, Altrincham.
Racing formats announced for the evening include:
- Kids Fruit Shoot 400: one lap of the track with one fruit shoot
- The Beer Mile: four beers and four laps
- The Prosecco Mile: one glass poured per lap
- The Relay: four by 400 metres relay with one beer per leg
Entry requires registration with the SiEntries system. The published entry fee is £10.50 and includes food and a special memento. Participants are asked to bring their own drinks for the Beer Mile or Prosecco Mile; the minimum suggested container size is 330 ml. Alternatives such as fruit cider in similar sized bottles are allowed.
Catering will be provided on site with vegetarian and vegan options. Spectators are welcome to purchase and enjoy the food. Organisers note that they aim to run multiple races during the evening and that participants may enter as individuals or form relay teams.
