Altrincham Beer Mile 2026
The event is the final edition after ten years and takes place on 10 July 2026 at the Timperley Track, Altrincham Athletics Club. It combines running on the track with social drinking events across several short races.
The programme includes a Kids Fruit Shoot 400, the Beer Mile with four laps and four drinks, a Prosecco Mile with one glass per lap poured on the track, and a 4x400m relay where each leg includes a drink. Participants are expected to bring their own drinks; the minimum bottle size suggested is 330 ml and fruit cider is listed as an alternative.
Entry is managed through SiEntries and the listed fee is £10.50, which covers food and a special memento. Food will be provided on site with vegan and vegetarian options available. Official beer mile rules may be used with local adaptations for this event. Spectators are welcome and may access the provided food on the night.
