Altrincham Beer Mile 2026
The event is billed as the Grand Finale of the Altrincham Beer Mile series and takes place at the Timperley Track, Altrincham Athletics Club, on 10 July 2026. Entry includes food and a special memento for each participant.
Racing on the track is arranged into several formats, including a kids event called the Fruit Shoot 400 (one lap of the track with a fruit shoot), the Beer Mile (four beers and 4 laps), the Prosecco Mile (one glass per lap served by a sommelier), and a relay (4x400 m, one drink and one lap per runner). Races are run on a track surface at the club location.
Participants must bring their own drinks. The minimum bottle size requested is 330 ml and alternatives such as fruit cider are acceptable. The entry fee listed is £10.50 to cover event provisions.
Catering will provide food from a BBQ and vegetarian and vegan options will be available. Spectators are welcome to attend and to purchase or share the food provided.
